Hello my fashionistas,
Today I have something different to show you. My followers in UK will be familiar with todays tradition, but for the rest I will explain. On fifth of November 1605 Guy Fawkes was arrested while trying to blow up Upper House of Parliament. Because King James 1st had survived this event people lit bonfires around London to celebrate.
More than 400 years later 5th of November is still celebrated with fireworks and its called Bonfire night.
I am so lucky to live by one of the nicest firework displays around so can watch them from my balcony. Every year I put some warm clothes on, make a hot chocolate, put the lights off and enjoy the spectacle!
This year I decided to use this occasion and show you the jacket I got as one of the most exciting presents ever. Jacket came as a big surprise that everyone around me knew about (but me obviously) and that is probably why I love it so much.
Here is what it looks like. It is Moncler brand with fur and is the warmest jacket I ve ever had.

I thought it was because we burned the people who tried to blow up parliament. Hence we throw a fake guy fawkes on the bonfire as a "fuck you catholics, dont try blow our shit up again or we will drag you through the streets of london and then burn you alive".

Oh I've never heard of this tradition, sounds like a lot of fun! How lucky to be able to enjoy the show from your balcoy, love the fireworks! Your jacket is amazing defiitely worth the surprise!

You realise it is Guy Fawkes who is having the last laugh, as he has become (through V for Vendetta) the face of social justice through Anonymous, Occupy Wall Street, and other forms of activism. Also, Move Your Money day today, intentionally combined with Guy Fawkes day.
